The Fauci hearing is in the rearview mirror. Along with the publication of his diary, his status as the last word in medicine has been greatly damaged. That is for the best. The worst thing about this guy is that he seemed to be an essential causative factor in the creation of the virus, through funding surreptitious gain-of-function reasearch in China, when such research was illegal in the US. What is largely undisclosed is whether the military was involved, which it seems it would have been. So Fauci helps to cause the disaster and then he pretends to be the source of remediation. This, along with his habitual dishonesty, makes him a villain. According to RFK Jr.’s book on Fauci, he was a villain long before the Covid 19 crisis.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch in Iran . . . Again President Trump says we are near a deal with these bad actors. The repetitiousness of this farce is getting so bad that the newscasters, except on Fox News, are having trouble keeping a straight face as they report it.
